Formerly an Animal Health Technologist, I have been involved in breeding and showing Bengals for 7years. My first homebred champion Bengal was Regional Winner Ch. Dawnfire's Eight Ender with hopefully many more to come.

Above is a picture of the winter view from our back porch.  We get an amazing variety of birds in the summer including pelicans, great blue herons, cormorants, loons, ducks and purple martins.  Off to the right side is the Laughing Duck Observatory used for our amateur astronomy hobby - the roof and front wall open up when in use.  It's usually pretty quiet out here but in the winter we get a lot of snowmobiles zooming by on the lake, and the occasional family out ice fishing.

I have also been involved in dog showing and breeding for the last 10 years, with my kennel name Dawnfire registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.
